2010 Vendor Information

Welcome to Lewiston’s annual Hot August Nights!

Some general information is enclosed for your benefit. Food Vendors who have paid the extra $50 to sell on Friday night (limited number only) may begin setting up Food Booths only on Friday the 27^th after 4:30 PM. All other Food and vendors may start setting up at your location at 5:30 AM on Saturday, August 28^th , 2010. There will be a representative to help direct you or answer any questions you may have.  On Friday, no food vendor may set up on any street or alley, only where directed and must not impede traffic while setting up. On Saturday, all service vehicles must be removed from the street by 7:00 AM. No exits for service vehicles until after 4:00PM.The Show and Shine begins at 10:00AM.

It is the responsibility of the vendor to secure applicable licenses or permits. All vendors will locate on sidewalk areas, on side street areas or in Brakenbury Square. Every effort will be made to avoid locating vendors selling like products next to each other.

We recognize Coca-Cola as a sponsor for this event and have agreed not to allow competing beverage products in this event. To ensure the ongoing support of our sponsors, please do not sell soda pop or T-Shirts (shirts may or may not be approved by the HAN committee).

Each vendor must provide all supplies including power, extension cords, lighting and visible signs. Be sure to have plenty of change as there will be no place to purchase change. Your are responsible for clean-up of your area during the event, must avoid attracting bees, flies and other pests, and must clean up before you leave. No trash or litter is to remain in front of any business. Failure to follow these rules will jeopardize participation in this event and a possible fine.
